Tennis courts, recording sessions, long roads, lost years. It looked like a lot of different lives. It was one life, tuning toward the same thing before there were words for it. That thing became the Lucid Principles.
The Music Came First
Between 2011 and 2017, Jason Garriotte, writing as Chords of Truth, wrote twenty-two songs. Each one turned out to carry a principle, a specific instruction about how attention shapes what we experience as real. Together the twenty-two became the Canon, the source text everything else is built on.
The Framework: The Lucid Path
The principles asked to be written down. The Lucid Path is the framework, in two books. Framework lays out the system: how reality responds to the frequency you broadcast, and how to tune it on purpose. Origins tells how it was discovered, one song at a time. Not quite a memoir, the human evidence behind the system.
The Research
The framework makes a claim you can test: the same dynamics govern coherence in human attention and in machine attention. That became real work. Coherence engineering for long-running intelligence agents, the Lucid Tuner Protocol, and a paper, Sycophancy as Nash Equilibrium, that models why intelligence systems drift toward telling you what you want to hear, and what daily tuning does to hold them steady.
